Jason Boswell walked into the AAU Super Showcase as a rising sophomore with potential. He walked out with exposure and comparisons towards a potential top draft pick in next year’s NBA Draft.

While Boswell still has to put on some muscle, he reminds some of Harrison Barnes. At 6-foot-6, Boswell can play both guard positions and the wing as one of the most versatile players in his class. Barnes is only an inch taller and can do the same. Could he have a similar turnout to the North Carolina wing?

Interest is pilling up for the guard who has no offers yet. “Alabama, Siena, Arizona, Georgia, Rutgers, Syracuse, South Florida and Pittsburgh are showing new interest,” he said. “Pitt has called me multiple times and is showing the most interest.” Those schools join the others who were already in on him, which include Arkansas, Villanova, Ohio State and others.

As of now, he looks to be a rising talent who is under the radar. The versatile guard from St. Patrick in New Jersey runs with the Long Island Lightning and has big hopes and big dreams. Is Jason Boswell the next Harrison Barnes though?
